CONCOURS D’ ELEGANCE CLASSIC CAR SHOW AND VEHICLEDNA ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
The Atlanta Concours d’Elegance and VehicleDNA today announced a long-term strategic partnership to help classic car owners effectively understand the condition of their prized vehicles through scientific engine and transmission analysis. VehicleDNA will introduce it’s engine and transmission testing technology and offer free tests to participants at this years Atlanta Concours d’ Elegance classic car show. Some of the most rare and expensive vehicles in the world will be on display and the owners will receive a free test of this groundbreaking, proprietary and military-grade technology. VehicleDNA tests provide a scientific diagnosis about the health of a car’s engine and transmission.
Larry Lafferty, VehicleDNA President said, “As a leader in analyzing and reporting on the health of a vehicle, we are very excited about this partnership and look forward to providing the most advanced automotive testing technology to classic, exotic and vintage car owners at the show. We want to keep these wonderful vehicles in tip top condition.”
VehicleDNA uses hardware developed by Massachusetts-based Spectro Scientific and their own proprietary analysis software to evaluate approximately 20 different parameters related to the condition of the component being tested. Utilizing this proven hardware/software system, VehicleDNA’s software will use data gathered from the show to build a database tailored for collector cars with the goal of providing increasingly useful results to all classic car owners.
“It’s like a blood test for your car! Our comprehensive tests use either oil from the crankcase or fluid from their transmission to evaluate factors such as oil viscosity and oxidation, the presence of water or glycol and levels of metals such as iron or aluminum in a sample”, stated Jack Poley, CEO, VehicleDNA.
The Atlanta Concours d’Elegance has been building a reputation for innovation since it’s inception. Both Founders, Harry Krix and Bill Wallet, have extensive backgrounds in advanced technology. VehicleDNA will be the first in a series of programs at the Atlanta Concours that focus on bringing new technologies to the collector car community.
Bill Wallet, Atlanta Concours d’Elegance Co-Founder, recently said “VehicleDNA is a truly unique product and has the potential to become the industry standard. The Atlanta Concours d’Elegance is proud to be offering testing at this year’s event and look forward to continuing our strategic relationship with VehicleDNA for many years to come.”
Founded by Co-CEO Jack Poley and Co-President Larry Lafferty, VehicleDNA provides mobile oil analysis services to the automotive industry.
